Archives for March 2011

real simple.

This magazine is just delicious.

I could eat it up.

I LOVE the April issue. And basically every other issue ever made.

I honestly don’t know why I don’t have a subscription to this magazine. What the heck am I doing buying it off the magazine stand each month? I need to get it together on this front. I know I would never regret it. This magazine is perfection.

Also, while scouring the internet for REAL SIMPLE covers for this post, I came across these inspirational wallpapers via decor 8 blog.

There is supposedly 19 free “daily thought wallpapers”, but I can’t seem to find them on the website. If anyone knows if these still exist, please let me know. I would love to see the rest!

It’s almost the weekend!

orange dream.

This bag is AMAZING. J’adore!!!

Proenza Schouler PS1: $1,595.00

Holy moly.

Maybe someday.

Probably never. Definitely never.

Orange is the best. Have I mentioned that lately?

DREAM! is a good word for this because all I’ll ever be doing with this bag is dreaming about it. But what a wonderful dream it will be.

a tampa picture book

Well I’m back home now here in Boston and am sure glad the sun is shining or this day would be a whole lot harder. 45 degrees has got NOTHIN on 85. And that’s the plain truth.

My trip down to Tampa was so nice. I got beautiful weather the first two days of my trip (it rained quite a bit yesterday, but ya can’t win ’em all), we made some delicious dinners, and I got some really great quality time in with my friend. Being down there makes me miss her more up here. Caroline and I lived in Boston together the first two years out of college, so having her gone is tough, but being able to visit her in sunny FL has got its advantages too of course!

Here’s a little instagr.am picture book of my trip. I got so many great pictures on both my phone and my DSLR. Being obsessed with your iPhone and taking pictures is a good thing for the memories!

Flying with C was definitely the highlight of the trip. What an experience!

We stopped in Boca and took a ride to Delray Beach to have lunch and get some yummy ice cream!

Caroline and Peter took me to some of their favorite food spots, Pete and I hung out at the “hanger” watching Cal practice her pilot moves, and we also did a bit of shopping (a given when we’re together).

I got some sweet new TOMS and plan on sending these pics of me and the flag to the TOMS website. For every pair of shoes bought TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a child in need. Love supporting this cause!

We drank margarita’s and a good amount of red wine. And we made two delicious meals that bring back memories for us both. My mom’s chicken paprika (my FAV) and salmon burgers with sweet potato fries. In memory of our favorite dinner spot in college– PORTS!

Cal and Peter’s dog Penny is ADORABLE!! We became fast friends and she even gave me kisses.

I went kinda crazy with my instar.am in Cal’s house. I loved taking pictures of the little things. Her office is my favorite room, it’s so practical and fun with bookshelves surrounding the whole room.

Thanks for a great trip friend! Love to you always!

j’adore anthropologie jewelry!

These pieces are just so pretty. I love the colors. Pinks and orange are totally my colors. And these necklaces are totally adorable.

Don’t you think?

Also, I want these earrings.

All of them.

Earrings are also totally my thing.

And these are beautiful!

LOVE.
