the one thing.

madewithover-1

Summer is practically here! Just three and a half more days (!!) and I will be footloose and fancy free.

Good glory.

Last year I made a ginormous bucket list of all the things I wanted to do over the summer. I filled the months of July and August with crazy amazing things and I am more appreciative than ever because of it. This summer I have a list brewing in my head. Things I already have planned and things I very much want to do, but for right now I’m just going to keep the written list simple:

1. Live well.

One thing only, the most important.

Oh, the possibilities. I want to do all the happy things. I want to be here and I want to be there. And best of all, I want to love it. Every day, every minute.

Happy almost summer, friends!

  4. Perfect summer “list.” I know you’ll make the very most of it!!

  5. Cheers to living well and many more strawberries this summer!

  6. That is a pretty incredible list. Good luck sticking with it!

  7. Love this so SO much. I love those long lists, but more…I love the idea of not having to try to hard to LIVE WELL. With you on this.

  8. Beautiful! I want to copy it, but add Eat Well too! :)

  9. Oh I just love summer! Everything about it just makes me happy!

  10. Last year, I also made a bucket list. And this year I, like you, have decided to do the opposite and let the summer take me where it will. The other day, an old professor wrote on Facebook, “Never say no to an adventure.” I’ve adopted that as my mantra for the summer!

  11. I love your list! :) Last year’s AND this year’s, of course. If I didn’t have such a sporadic work schedule, I would make my own list, but it’s hard for me to know what I can and can’t do, because I never know what I’m going to be working. Even if we see our schedules weeks in advance, they could always change, so any plans I make have to be tentative or nonexistent until practically right at the last minute. I complain about it now, but if I go to grad school, my schedule will probably be worse! Lol. Only, I’ll probably be enjoying it more than working in a bank. :)

  12. YES. This year, my plan is to experience summer to the fullest, and I think I mean the same thing by that that you mean by live well. “Do all the happy things”- that is exactly it!

  13. Good luck on your bucket list!!!

My plan this summer is get down from 180lbs to 140lbs and stay there. :D I am so excited. I am finally focusing on myself and it feels great.
