“If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still life has some possibility left. Perhaps this is its way of fighting back, that sometimes something happened better than all the riches or power in the world. It could be anything, but very likely you notice it in the instant when love begins. Anyway, that’s often the case. Anyway, whatever it is, don’t be afraid of its plenty. Joy is not made to be a crumb.” // Mary Oliver

I have a totally unrelated question for you…do you use a filter/photoshop action to edit your photos? I’m in love with the look of them and am wondering how you achieve it! Thanks!

    • Hi! I use lightroom and I have created my own presets based on VSCO film. I tweaked some of their presets to reflect the color I like!

  4. Anna, I’ve been reading your blog for years and must say, you are such a bright corner of the internet. Your love for life and your adventurous spirit bring me joy every time I visit your blog or Instagram page. Thank you for reminding us to soak up the goodness of life, because it truly is a beautiful world we live in. I’m quite jealous of the families who get to have you as a teacher. Keep up the good work– you’re a rare breed indeed.
