We love this little town. It’s got so much character and so much pretty.
This weekend marks my first official Rockport trip of the season. Every summer I make countless trips up here with Zan and his family {they’ve been coming up to this part of the North Shore for years and YEARS} and this time I was glad to have my own parents with me for the ride. It was cold, but beautiful, and most definitely the perfect way to enjoy a sunny Saturday in late spring.
Favorites:
A walk down Bearskin Neck to the harbor’s edge. Peak in the shops, take pictures by the Jetty. Breathe in the salty air and think about the good life.
If you come during the day, have lunch at My Place By The Sea. It’s a special once-a-year event for us. Definitely pricey, but the views and seafood make it worth it.
Ice Cream at Molly’s Sweet Tooth. Get the peanut butter cup ice cream {it’s Richardson’s!} and I promise you won’t be sorry.

Thank you!! :)
I’m so jealous!! I love that town. My boyfriend lived in Rockport for a few years when he was younger, so we go up there and he reminisces about his time in middle school :) Also, I loooove your outfit! Where’d you get that skirt?
J.crew outlet!! It’s so soft and comfy!
It still baffles me that I haven’t been to Rockport– guess that’s what I get for being a South Shore girl! These photos confirm that I need to make a trip up there STAT!
You need to. Especially Good Harbor Beach!
Such a cute little town! I love that it’s right on the water.
New England living at it’s finest! :)
So pretty! I must go!
I’m so jealous you live so close! We used to spend a week in Rockport every summer for like 6 years – it was heaven :) my dad went there with HIS family from NYC when he was a kid!
My hometown! I stumbled upon your instagram pictures and had to go to your blog after seeing pictures of loblolly :) I live in Brooklyn now but go home almost every weekend in the summer since we have summer hours. Thanks for posting these pieces of home! :)
