Stuart (Little)

Soooooo we have a little mouse in our apartment. It has been around for a couple of weeks now and we’ve been trying to catch it via an OLD SCHOOL mouse trap (shown at the right). Clearly, it’s not working. Haha this mouse trap is literally straight out of Disney’s Cinderella. Only our mouse is no Gus Gus. Our mouse is named Stuart. Like Stuart Little. Because he is… so…. little. I named him today after Josh spotted him in the cupboard. Josh says he is teeensy-tiny so I decided this name is fitting. I imagine he is a cute one too; however, mice are unsanitary- and so as cute as he may be, he needs to leave. SOON!

Here is the email conversation between Josh and I today regarding Stuart:

Hahahahah OMG! In the pantry?!?!!!! That little sucker. I’m so glad you spotted him though so now we know where he is coming from. We should try to block the hole.

Good idea about not telling meg. It would distroy her. Haha she would never eat anything out of the pantry again!!!

I have class soon but I will see you tonight. The mouse is going DOWN.

**Sidenote to Lauren: If you are reading this be assured the mouse will not be killed. Please hurry home to help us save/dispose of Stuart. Meg especially needs you more than ever right now.

congrats, mr. and mrs. foss!!

Last weekend was simply fabulous. Here’s why:
1. My Friend, Caroline M. Hettinger (CMH) was married to Peter Foss and became the new Caroline H. Foss (CHF… need to get used to saying it out loud). YAY!!!!
2. I was lucky and honored to be a bridesmaid. It was tres magnificent!
3. I was reunited with all my best friends from college, drank many a cocktails, sang my favorite songs, and nanner danced the night away. It was A-MAZING.
The wedding was spectacular. The night was perfect. The company was fantastic. The party was oh so grand. Can we do it all again this weekend, please?
Here are some of my favorite pics from the wedding weekend:

Katie and I enjoying our lobsters at the rehearsal dinner.

The bridesmaids the night before.

First Quad reunion in 3 years!

Party shoes and adorable necklace box.

The ceremony… excellent weather!

The new Mr. and Mrs. Foss!

Charlie loving the ladies on the way back down the aisle.

Me, Hannah, and Julie enjoying the reception.

Cal and Pete’s first dance.

KP after her maid of honor speech. YES!

Boogers loving the celebration...

haha… dancing with my friend Joe.

The dancing and singing (and finger pointing) in full force!

Last pic of the night… HWS love. We love you Cal!!

one of a kind.

Don’t you just love this new nail polish I snagged at j.crew! I can’t wait to put it on! And who knew j.crew even sold nail polish? Another reason they are at the very top of the list of my favorite things. The color (a bright, fun, orangy-red) is called One Of a Kind, by essie- especially for j.crew! They also have a nice light pink color, eternal optimist, also by essie. You can find these on the j.crew website (first under accessories and then necessary luxuries– of COURSE) and now also in the stores. FAB!!!!

Etsy: Buy Handmade!

So my Friend told me about this great website where you can buy handmade jewelry and other things handmade/vintage. It’s Etsy: your place to buy and sell all things handmade. She bought our fabulous bridesmaid necklaces from here (which I ADORE) and I know she has also had luck with other purchases she has made. I’ve been browsing the website for awhile tonight and so far I love everything I see! I particularly love this yarn flower headband, super fun and like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It’s so unique I just love it, which is like most items on Etsy… so many awesome handmade treasures at low prices– so check it out!
