squeaky green, super clean

Did you know that most dryer sheets are made with animal fat? Totally gross. I didn’t even know this until I went to write this post. I wanted to tell you how I found these really pleasant smelling moist dryer sheets and when I went to do a little research about them I found out the fun fact about dryer sheets and animal fat. Awesome.
Luckily, you don’t need to use animal-fat infested dryer sheets anymore. You can start using method squeaky green dryer cloths and can kiss animal fat goodbye (sorry, I’ll stop saying animal fat now. It’s giving me the heebie jeebies too).
These squeaky green dryer cloths are brilliant.

They are just a little bit damp and when you put them in the dryer along with your clothes renewable plant-based softeners make your clothes super soft and just so perfectly fragrant. Now that’s something you want to put your face up to. Squeaky green, super clean, hot clothes out of the dryer. Oh my. Yes, please.

The Danish Pastry House

Stopped by the Copley Farmers Market today after work and found the most delicious looking pastry stand! Of course I had to try something. It would be wrong not to. So I went with the apple cinnamon brioche twist. And I’m gonna let you in on a secret: It tastes just as amazing as it looks. Simply fabulous.

I have such a sweet tooth and this pastry just really hit the spot. It’s made by The Danish Pastry House so if you’re ever in Copley on a Tuesday or Friday definitely stop by and have a treat! Besides getting some of their goodies at the farmers market they also have shops in Watertown and Medfield.

WANTED: An organized life.

A life long goal of mine is to be organized.
Always has been, always will be.
I am fairly organized at the present moment, in almost all areas but a few. My downfall? Papers. You know, like old pay stubs and health insurance info? Camera instructions and bank memos? There are times when I can’t see the top of my dresser and my mail pile is so high it seems like it’s not far from the ceiling.

I love this secretary hutch from Pottery Barn.

I think I could really get control of all the papers in my life with this desk. Seriously, where in the world is one supposed to keep all their important documents as time goes by? I feel like over the past several years my folder of “important papers” has gotten fatter and fatter. In fact, I lied. It’s not even a folder anymore. It went from a folder to a file box to three desk drawers, and now I just feel incredibly overwhelmed. Lately, papers and mail have been starting to overflow into my closet. When does it end? Where is all this stuff supposed to go? I’m too scared to throw it out. What if I need something next year and the document is sitting in a landfill? Yikes. Makes me nervous. So I guess for now, until I learn to let go, I will keep stuffing my papers into boxes in my closet and daydream about having a desk like this. So much space for filing! SO much potential for clean desktops! And it’s not even ugly (like so many filing cabinets can be).

DREAM. An absolute organizers dream.
