lovin’ my TOMS

I took these pictures right after I bought my TOMS, about a month ago. At the time I had no idea just how much I would love them, but I was excited for my photo shoot nonetheless!

I can safely say that these have to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. And my favorite part about TOMS is not the comfort, but the movement behind the shoes.

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers.

I just love them.

After much debate between the gold glitter TOMS and these more “earthy” natural burlap TOMS, I decided to go with the latter. Much more practical for my lifestyle, they are flippin’ saaaweeeeeeet:

I have yet to go a day without feeling the love for these shoes.

Shoes, I love you. YES. I do.

They go with everything and I feel like I’m walking on air.

Yay TOMS.

Join the One for One Movement and get yerself a pair of these cuties. The colors and fabrics are endless it might even be hard to choose. But whatever pair you end up with, you will love them and your feet will love them too.

good morning

Good morning! I was happily greeted with this yummy looking picture when I headed over to RueLaLa this morning. I thought it was so cute!

I was browsing the site after I got am email that one of their shops was Jack Rogers! I live in my Jack Rogers sandals in the summer, so I was excited to see what was available. I crossed my fingers I’d fine something good and yes yes yes did I ever.

I instantly fell in love with these ballet flats. The color is amazing and I love the big circle on the toe. These are beautiful!

Just my luck that they were already sold out by the time my eyes fell in love. OH well! It’s still Saturday and the very first day of my vacation so not much can bring me down at the moment.

Have a great weekend!

Clockwise from top: bottles. silk shirt. pinkalicious treats.

DREAM!

So very pretty and happy. I love this color PINK.

I was looking through my closet tonight, getting ready to take out my spring line of clothing, I couldn’t help but realize that I clearly am not afraid of color. Orange, yellow, greens and blues–but mostly, I own a LOT of pink.

The pink ladies pledge:

To act cool, to look cool, and to beeeee cool. Till death do us part, THINK PINK.

(Grease 2, yo. Love that movie.)

monday blues

I can’t help but love this picture montage at jcrew.com, featuring Jenna Lyons and her son Beckett (fully equipped with stripes and pink essie polish!). It makes me smile, and of course, makes me yearn for the weekend. Too bad it’s only monday, the farthest possible day from Saturday.

Blah.

I would absolutely sport this shirt with light boyfriend jeans or white pants come summer. I love it.

Yeah, weekends. Yeah, Saturday!

At least Monday’s almost over. And that’s something to celebrate.
