sublime ice cream sandies

oh my goodness. oh my gooooooodness.

I picked up these ice cream sandies the other day at Trader Joes and to my pleasant surprise they were absolutely scrumptious. Actually, that’s a lie. I don’t know why my fingers just typed that sentence. Because it wasn’t at all to my pleasant surprise. I knew they were going to be amazing and I was 110 percent right. They were outrageously wonderful.

They were sublime.

Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches from Trader Joe’s. The cookies are SO SOFT. The chocolate chips are SO YUMMY. The experience is one of a kind.

Thanks, TJs! Love ya!

i won, i won!!!!!

I first need to start off this post by clarifying that I have never won anything in my entire life. At raffles I always cross my fingers and make a wish, but somebody else always wins. Dang them.

Yesterday was my lucky day because I won these TOTALLY AWESOME Le Creuset Bowls from one of my very favorite blogs The Sweet Life.

It was Melanie’s very first giveaway and I WON!

You should probably become a reader of The Sweet Life, if you’re not already. It’s pretty sweet!!!

She’ll give you tips and recipes on how to make all kinds of glorious treats…

homemade oreos!

marshmallow macarons!

yummy glazed donuts!

homemade Kit-Kats!

lemon cupcakes with raspberry buttercream!

Oh yes you sure do want to visit her blog now. I know you do.

THANKS MELANIE!!!!!

philadelphia cooking creme

This stuff is wicked good. Wiiiiicked.

I picked it up at the store this weekend after I’d seen a yummy looking commercial last week on TV. Meg and I even rewound the commerical after it had played because we were so amazed at how good the meal looked. I’m a sucker for commercials, I’ll admit, and Meg is even WORSE (she goes out and buys anything and everything she sees advertised), but this stuff really is delicious!

We made “Chicken Bruschetta Pasta” right from the back of the cooking creme container. It was super easy, and super good– which is just what I was looking for.

Mmmm! If you’re as busy as I’ve been lately, but still want something tasty for dinner, try some of this out for your next meal. It’s perfect!

things i saw, things i love

Oh my goodness this week has been awfully busy. But I made it! It’s Friday night and I made it out alive.

Phew!

Just a few things I saw and loved this week… here ya go!

Darling Studio’s blog BRUNCH featured these note cards this week by the artist Susie Ghahremani. Very lovely!

I love the look and sound of this frozen brazo de mercedes cake by Trissa of Trissalicious via 6 Bittersweets.

This is a dream house and I want to be in it. Seen and super loved on Wide Open Spaces via The Pink and Blue Blog.

Absolutely love these fabrics by Ink and Spindle via Freshly Blended. All of Ink and Spindle’s textiles are beautiful and I want to make my own pillows with them!

Isn’t this dresser amazing?! And I love the mirror too!! Spotted via Kelly and Olive.

How fun are these adorable party straws? I want to drink a raspberry Pina Colada with one of these. By Emerald + Ella via Hooray Design.

Lastly, I love this photograph of these kimquats seen at Oh Happy Day! I had this fruit once when Zan’s mom brought a bunch back from California. They’re like oranges, but mini and more tart. And you just pop them in your mouth with the skin on! They are verrrrry tasty.

Have a great weekend!!
