harris tweed

I really love this mustard color clutch! The fabric and flower detail is so pretty too.

I was just aimlessly browsing Etsy on this chilly spring Saturday and this caught my eye. It’s just lovely. I love the vintage look of it.

Harris Tweed Clutch. Dreamy.

Fabulous

I spotted this fabulous dress in the J.crew window on Greenwich Ave this weekend and felt my heart skip a beat. I’m totally in love with the pattern and color and fabric! Hello, perfect summer fancy! I, of course, skittered my little behind inside the store to try and get my hands on this beauty, only to discover they were out of my size and also out of my price range (no mystery there, but like I always say, a girl can dream).

Perhaps if wishes really do come true this dress will be in my closet at some point in the near future.

LOVE IT.

Happy Mother’s Day!

This weekend was a really special weekend. Meg and I drove down to Greenwich to spend a “ladies weekend” celebrating Mother’s Day and hosting my cousin Haley’s baby shower. It was a perfect weekend and we were blessed with delicious food, wonderful weather, and my favorite company– my family!

Haley got so many nice (and adorable) outfits and other essential goodies for her soon-to-be brand new baby girl. I’m so grateful I could help her celebrate this weekend and spend time with her before her little one comes into this world!

Here are some pics from our lovely baby shower by the sea…

I’m so happy my sister and I were able to spend Mother’s Day with our mom. And it was extra special to be with our Grammy, both our aunts, and our two cousins. A real treat for us this year!

To the best mother in the world… I LOVE YOU, MOM!

AND GRAMMY!

This was a cute picture we took right before our drive back to Boston. It just so happened we were all wearing matching colors! I love it!

See you soon, Haley and Leah! Can’t wait til little H is here!!! Love to you both!

XO.

so much to do, so little time…

There is really no excuse for my absence except for the fact that this time of year seems to be a really busy one in the life of a school teacher. The end of the year is fast approaching and I feel like my head is spinning with all kinds of emotions.

1. I’m totally ready for summer.
2. I LOVE love love my class and will miss them dearly.
3. My kids are going crazy with spring fever.
4. There is so much I want to do before the end of the year and so little time to do it.

What’s a lady to do?

Get ‘er done.

And so, that’s what I’ve been up to and that why I’ve gone missing from this dear blog of mine.

My sincerest apologies.

I still love you, blog. Believe me, I do.
