a birthday post for bailey ♥

Happy Birthday B!

I hope you and Kevin went out to a nice dinner with fine wine and tasty treats! Already planning my next weekend to Brooklyn. If I’m away too long my hands start to shake. Not even kidding.

Remember this pic? Summer at Skaneateles Lake…some of my most favorite memories. (I originally tried to steal some of the professional photos from the wedding, but the photographer wouldn’t have it. Put some sort of block on the pics. Gosh darn.) I had so much fun looking through old pictures tonight for this post. Classic times we’ve had for sure.

Glad to find this oldie and glad to have a friend like you! Love you lots! Happy day! xoxo.

Photo Booth!

Fortunately I did not wake up with that monday morning feeling today. Probably because I am still on my wedding weekend high. After unpacking my things last night I forgot we had these fun pictures from the reception! Bailey and Kevin had a photo booth at their wedding for guests to take pictures and leave in a scrapbook. It was such a cute idea and we had so much fun posing for the camera. We even stole the bride away for a few minutes and got some pictures with her!

Bailey and Kevin’s Wedding Weekend!

I’ve just gotten home from one of the most glorious weekends ever.

Bailey and Kevin got married!

It began Friday afternoon when we all arrived excited and ready celebrate. The rehearsal dinner was so fun and was a perfect beginning to a weekend of many smiles and many toasts. The food was delicious the whole weekend through (Zan can’t stop talking about it!), the weather was terrific, and the ambiance of the resort was perfect. But most important of all– The bride looked STUNNING and party was a blast. It was so amazing to be back with all my favorite people from home and to have met new friends along the way this past year. Here’s some pictures of the celebration… Enjoy!

Here’s to the memories of a wonderful night with wonderful friends.

Miss you guys already!! See you soon!

Great Friends (and great Thai too).

2 weekends ago when the Brickhouse girls swung into town we ended up at a delicious Thai restaurant in the South End. My original plan had been to drink and dine at Toro, but the place is so popular there was a 31/2 hour wait (I do not kid you). SO we ditched that plan because we were terribly famished and headed to the nearest restaurant we could find. No need to look far, we stumbled on Equator, a nice Thai place right across the street. And whad’ya know- there was no wait. LUCKYYYYY. The atmosphere was so pleasant, the music (90’s music, elevator style) was classy, the food excellent, and most importantly- the company was superb.

If your ever on Washington Street and there is a 31/2 hour wait at Toro, or if you are just looking for great Thai food at reasonable prices, head on over to Equator:

After dinner we headed over to Beacon Hill for free drinks at the Liberty Hotel (THANKS, Josh!). The Liberty Hotel used to be the old county jail. Now it’s a SUPER fancy, EXTRA snazzy hotel. A great place to go when your friends are in town on a Saturday night.

“The jail’s granite exterior and expansive, light-filled interiors remain largely unchanged. Soaring 90 feet, the jail’s central atrium was beautifully preserved and forms the core of the hotel. It features the building’s trademark windows and historic catwalks. The preserved jail cells within the hotel restaurant and wrought-iron work on the windows are just two examples of preservation.”

It was such a great time just catching up and remenising with the girls. We are all in different cities on the east coast so getting together is not always easy, but absolutely worth it. We really need to do this more often!! And to the B-house ladies that weren’t able to make the trip: you were VERY much missed!! Love you guys! xoxoxo.
