Holiday Potluck!

Last night we had a bookclub Holiday Potluck!! Fabulous and delicious!! Everyone brought such yummy treats to eat and it ended up being a huge success! The decorations were up, the tree was sparkling, the Christmas lights on, and the holiday music was a-plenty. It put me right in the Christmas spirit and now, FINALLY, the countdown can begin!!! ONE WEEK until Christmas!! Hooray!
Here’s some pics from the night of merriment:

We ended the night with some dancing, of course. A MUST!!!

Ellen: So You Think You Can Dance!

Clearly, I’ve been watching Ellen everyday to see if I’ve won on the 12 Days of Giveaways OR the Ellen/Oprah 12 Day Give-O-Way. Well, I haven’t been a winner yet, unfortunately, but I’m not giving up hope either. I’ve never won anything in my entire life but who’s to say this isn’t going to be the one time I do win? HUH?! Right. I thought so.

Aaaanyways, today Ellen played this awesome video of her dancing with the cast of So You Think You Can Dance. I love it! Makes me want to learn the dance and join in the fun! Here’s the clip:

Santa Sunday.

We had the most hilarious day of skiing today for Zan’s Birthday. It was the 10th annual Santa Sunday at Sunday River Ski Resort in Maine and we decided to take part in the craziness! The event is put on every year to raise money for families and children in need. You have to wear a santa suit and bring a donation of $10 then you get to ski free for the day and you get 2 other free passes to come back and ski again! It’s a win-win situation… I mean, who doesn’t like dressing up like santa, wearing a crazy wig, and putting on all their ski gear?
I’m sitting here chuckling just thinking about how funny it was! Check out the pictures!
We stayed in this cozy little house the night before… love all the SNOW!!!
can you tell who’s who? HA!

Celebrating… 100 posts!!!

I’ve done it! I’ve reached 100 blog posts! I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my family, my friends, and most importantly, my readers (who just so happen to be…. my family and friends). I’ve really enjoyed this little project. It’s given me a chance to keep everyone updated and it’s been so much fun putting all my posts together. I feel so computer savvy. What a rush.

SO let’s toast. Here’s to celebrating 100 posts… and to hundreds more. CHEERS and have a cupcake (you know you want to).
Thanks for reading!

xoxo, aeb.
