O Christmas Tree.

So here it is! Our beauteous Christmas tree!! We put the decorations on last week and it was such a glorious time. Last year Meg and I brought back a lot of our childhood ornaments from 110 York Rd., so this year we had a fun time putting up all the oldies on the tree (the ballet and skating ornaments are my favorite!).

And don’t you just love this holiday pillow Lauren’s parents gave us for our apartment for Christmas? They also bought us 2 bright red pillow covers and now our living room is all set and ready for our holiday potluck on Thursday night!!

Holiday Wish List

Here’s a wish list of some things I am wishing for this year….

Blogging for Bliss is a fun book all about blogging. It gives you neat ideas on how to craft your blog to be just the way you want it…. looks great!!

The Horn Book Magazine has up to date articles and reviews on all the best children’s literature… great for an aspiring reading specialist like me!

These Wicked Good Moccasins from l.l.bean just look SO COZY!!! I need a new pair anyways since the pair I’ve been wearing are the black and pink Guinness slippers Erin and Edith brought back to me from their trip to Ireland…. 5 years ago.

Love this Merino Trapper Hat from j.crew!! It will perfectly fit over my ears keeping them nice and warm. Plus, the gray will look great with all of my winter coats!

And the gift card never fails to please…. here are my favorite stores!!

Those are just a few things I’ve come up with so far….
happy shopping ;)

Christmas Shopping Bliss.

Did quite a bit of Christmas shopping this weekend when we stopped by the outlets in Freeport. SWEEEEET! I didn’t expect to get any gifts while we were there, but the deals were all over the place and I found some amazing presents. Now obviously I can’t tell you what I bought because then I would be ruining the surprise, but I sure did come home with a lot of bags. I got some great gifts and I can’t wait to give them away!! I just love the season of giving… makes my heart happy. Oh JOY!

Santa Sunday.

We had the most hilarious day of skiing today for Zan’s Birthday. It was the 10th annual Santa Sunday at Sunday River Ski Resort in Maine and we decided to take part in the craziness! The event is put on every year to raise money for families and children in need. You have to wear a santa suit and bring a donation of $10 then you get to ski free for the day and you get 2 other free passes to come back and ski again! It’s a win-win situation… I mean, who doesn’t like dressing up like santa, wearing a crazy wig, and putting on all their ski gear?
I’m sitting here chuckling just thinking about how funny it was! Check out the pictures!
We stayed in this cozy little house the night before… love all the SNOW!!!
can you tell who’s who? HA!
