My new book Blogging for Bliss (got it for Christmas!) says one of the best things about blogging is getting comments and having followers. Up until now, I don’t really know who is following my blog (besides family and close friends). BUT Tara Frey (the author of B4B) says comments are encouraging and fun to receive. And you know what? I AGREE! Plus, it lets me know that my words are being read (by somebody, anybody!). So I’ve added a new feature on the right hand column called FOLLOWERS. Be a follower! This will let you know when my blog has been updated with new posts. And comments are welcome and appreciated!! Thanks all!

a little early, but oh so delicious.

Eggnog latte, anyone? Yes, please!
So it’s November 10 and the Starbucks holiday cups have already been out for over a week. Is it me or does Christmas come earlier every year? I don’t remember Thanksgiving happening yet. Oh well, more delicious drinks for all of us. I personally like the eggnog latte the best, but will occasionally change it up with a peppermint mocha or gingerbread latte. Like Meg always says, “There’s nothing like a warm red cup and some holiday spice to get ya in the christmas spirit!”.
Can’t wait to break out the Mariah Carey Merry Christmas CD! But for that, I think I’ll wait til after Thanksgiving.
L.L.Bean: town and field tote.
September 24, 2009
I got this l.l. bean tote for my birthday (thanks, MOM!) and so far, I love it.
1. It’s practical.
2. It’s sturdy.
3. It’s spacious.
4. It’s CLASSIC.
I have only been using it for a couple of days, but I have only positive things to say. I only need to carry one bag around now- it holds EVERYTHING. Plus, it’s much nicer looking than a canvas tote. And its wears nicer too. Carry around a Vinyard Vines tote for a few months and it starts to look like a dog chewed it up. This leather tote on the other hand will only get better with age. You can buy your own AWESOME leather tote by clicking here: You will love this bag!
