barefoot contessa

Ina Garten’s recipes are a dream. Every single one I have ever tried has been truly delicious. Flavors are bursting and my taste buds are happy when I’m eating a meal from the Barefoot Contessa. Another great thing about recipes from Ina is that they are simple. Not too much work goes into cooking one of her dishes and that’s just the way I like it. Simple, sweet, and delightful.

Today when I was at Costco I saw all four of Barefoot Contessa’s books on sale. They were cheap too and I just about died of happiness. I (of course) wanted them all, but restrained myself, as I have recently put myself on a budget. After flipping through the books I decided on the two pictured above. valentine’s day cards that rock

Love these homemade cards I found at Etsy by Uluckygirl. There are other cute choices at her shop too! They aren’t pink or red, but that can sometimes be overrated on Valentine’s day. I haven’t found the perfect card yet for my Valentine, but I’m certainly on the hunt! Have a great weekend!

Pinterest

I’m so excited!! I’ve been invited to join Pinterest and am now pinning away! Pinterest is a new way to catalog all the things you love. From fashion to home decorating, cooking and blogging, this is the place to “pin” anything and everything your little heart desires. Pinterest is similar to Twitter in the way that you follow people with similar interests to your own, maximizing your potential to see the beauty found by others! It’s also similar to blogging, but simpler in a sense, because it’s a quick and easy way to share the things you love.

This is all very new and exciting, and I am thrilled to be a part of it. If you’re on Pinterest, let me know!View aeb.'s Pins on Pinterest
