So almost every year I get a new bathing suit.
It’s just sort of a thing I’ve done ever since I was little. Like new school supplies for the start of a new school year, I get a new suit for the start of a new summer.
Usually I just go with a j.crew suit because I know they fit me and I know they are usually pretty flattering. They’re pricey, but tried and true. The above suits are my faves from j.crew online this season.
Are you a one-piece or a two-piece wearer?
I have a fair amount of two-piece suits, but over the past several years I’ve been leaning towards the one-piece. It’s both comfortable and timeless. Can’t go wrong when those two factors are concerned!
Which one do you like best??
I do the same thing! except this year because of the burn I got on my chest last fall. it’s not allowed in the sun so I have to wear a shirt everywhere when in a bikini. no point in getting a new suit then! for the two piece I say the light blue polka dot, which I think would look great with your coloring (if you will). and then that floral one piece – its fun and different and pretty. I’m usually more of a two piece wearer but got a fun one piece last year and love breaking it out every now and then.
I am having the same battle about this summer. My vote is for a one piece because polka dot one-piece swimsuits are awesome in my book. lol If I had to pick a two piece I’d go with the baby blue. Super cute! Good luck :)

i love that first one piece– the gingham (i think?) one! so cute. but the polka-dotted one piece is pretty great and you’d never get sick of it.
I say two piece just for the convenience.

So many cute options! I’ve been looking a bit for a one piece, but haven’t had much long (long torso!). That navy and white polka dot one is darling, though!

I’m a one-piece fan since a few years ago when I discovered the Miracle Suit! It’s the best, really good coverage and support and pretty, too.
I haven’t worn a one-piece in ages but I really one to this summer! I believe it was ModCloth that had a ton of adorable ones recently….
I’d say the one piece strapless floral print or the two piece light blue on the second row. Can’t wait to hear what you decide!

I am usually a two-piece wearer. For some reason, I feel like one pieces display ALL my stomach flaws. Usually I’m also a Jcrew fan for swimsuits, but I’ve scored this year (for cheap!) from H&M and Gap!
I’m a HUGE fan of J.Crew suits, too. I know just how they fit me and they hold up so well. I love one and two pieces… I especially love suit #1 – that floral pattern is so fun!
They’re all really cute! I’m always into 2 pieces, mostly for comfort reasons (I don’t like having that wet material all around my middle, it bugs me!) You picked some pretty ones, I think the one on the bottom left is my fave!
