Once again, I am okay. I am locked up in my home and I am safe.
This is all I have the energy for today. This week has left me tired and weary in ways I can’t explain, and right now I just want my city back. Thank you, Boston PD for your tireless efforts to help this city + its people during the completely mind boggling events that have unfolded here this week. When it’s all over, and I believe {and hope} that it will be soon, we will celebrate your courage and perseverance forever.
You are heros.

This whole situation is SO crazy. The command center in Watertown is a mile from my house. My parents want me to leave and come to their house but I’m scared to go outside. What world is this? Is is so sad and scary and I just want them to catch him!
I have the upmost respect for the BPD and SWAT and FBI and EVERYONE ELSE who is here helping us.
So glad, once again, that you are safe. My heart is so heavy, reading the ongoing news. I second that, So so much respect for everyone who’s working tirelessly to help return Boston to peace. Such a strong city!
I can’t imagine how difficult it is for the whole city to be in lockdown. Keeping Boston in my thoughts and prayers.
