I downloaded this cool december wallpaper calendar for my computer. I just discovered that design*sponge has a new wallpaper available to download every month! Some of the artwork is really nice, and others I may pass up and put up one of my own pictures. Kind of fun so I thought I’d share with you!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRIEND!!!! Today is my friend Caroline’s 26th birthday. Getting oooold. Remember when you turned 21? Remember when you wore that sparkly shirt and danced on the beruit table in the Bhizzle? Ahhh, the memories. Love you, friend. Love you so much!!

oh, the sweet scent of balsam…

It’s official. We got our Christmas tree today. Woo! We took the easy route this year and headed to Allston to pick out a tree at the Boston Christmas Trees Christmas tree lot, and boy is it a beauty. The last two years we headed out to Marlborough, Mass to the Houdes Christmas tree farm. There is something special about tromping through the mud to cut down your own tree. We would have done it again this year had we had time, but alas, we did not. I have to admit that this is the most perfect tree we’ve ever had. I’m just in love with it. Couldn’t stop grinning today as we were setting it up. Smells amazing too…..
